Rosa Fowler Obituary
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Rosa Lee "Mama" Fowler, 84, of 358 Arkwright Drive, born on January 16, 1928, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at home after a long illness.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Horace Fowler and the daughter of the late Mr. Nathaniel and Mrs. Cole Lee Fuller Miller. Mrs. Fowler was a retired dietitian from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and Spartanburg School District 6. She was a faithful and life-long member of Harrison Grove Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Willing Workers Sympathy Club, Flower Circle, Humane Society of Harrison Grove Baptist Church and the Sims Chapel Sympathy Club of Arkwright.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, one daughter, Mrs. Elaine F. Sims of Spartanburg ,SC; three sons ,Mr. Roosevelt (Ruby) Miller, Mr. Larry J (Barbara) Fowler, and Mr. Donald L. Fowler all of Spartanburg, SC; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Tucker of Spartanburg, SC; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Fowler will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Harrison Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 pm by Reverend Dr. Leon C. Rector. Burial will follow in church cemetery.

Aunt Rose was very sweet. She was a lot of fun. I can hear her laughing, she would laugh so hard and tell Kelly you ain't got a bit of sense. I love and miss aunt Rose. God truly have a beautiful rose in His garden.

Aunt Rose was a very sweet lady. She was a very good cook. Aunt Rose was one of a kind. We will miss her. Curley, Larry ,Laine, and Boo you all are in our prayers.Keep looking to Jesus for strength and comfort during this time of sorrow. We love you all.
