Geraldine D. Walsh
GREENVILLE, SC-- Ruby Geraldine Dugger Walsh, 81, wife of the late Dr. Billy Joe Walsh, passed away Friday, January 30, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Beebe, AR, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Milbon and Ava Barrentine Dugger. Mrs. Walsh, who with her husband served as a missionary to Mexico, was retired from North Greenville College where she taught for more than 25 years. She was a member of Pelham Road Baptist Church.
Surviving are three children, Elaine Walsh Rostron and her husband Bill, Debra Carol Walsh Rutledge and her husband David, and Mark Wayne Walsh and his wife Kaye; seven grandchildren, Rebecca Rostron, William J. Rostron and his wife Bethany, Sharon R. Black and her husband Benjamin, Marie Rostron, John Rutledge, Christopher Rutledge, and Brian Walsh; and five great-grandchildren, Isaac Rostron, Samuel Rostron, and Renee, Lucas, and Noelle Black.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Pelham Road Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. John Roy and Dr. D. Wilson Cooke, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon from 12 until 2:00 p.m. at Pelham Road Baptist Church.

The family will be at their respective homes.
