Steve Summitt Obituary
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Barry Steven 'Steve' Summitt, 57, of Spartanburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Regional Hospice House. He was the widower of Patricia Lynn Summitt, who died in 2015.
Mr. Summitt was a native of Danville, VA and a son of the late W.C. and Barbara Ducker Summitt. He was a retired employee of R. R. Donnelly Company and was a member of the NRA.
Survivors include: brothers: Terry Parris of Chesnee and Mike Summitt of Gastonia, NC; sister: Leann Arant of Lancaster, SC; stepson: Ben Hollifield of Spartanburg; stepdaughter: Jackie Atkins of Spartanburg; step mother: Anita Summitt of Chesnee; three step grandchildren; special nieces: Nicole, Cassie, and Kinslee; special friends: Mike Loy, Ben Stuard, and Garrett Harris and Brenda Harpe. He was predeceased by a brother: Jody Summitt.
Graveside services will be conducted at Sunset Memorial Park on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Chuck Thornton.

So very sorry to hear about Steve. I worked with Steve a long time at RR Donnelley. He was a wonderful friend we had a lot of laughs. We talked about Patti and how much he loved her. I will miss him. Prayers for his family.
