William Biggins Obituary
CAMDEN, SC-- A memorial service to celebrate the life of Dr. William James "Bill" Biggins, DMD, 61, of Camden, SC, will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. The Rev. Mary D'Alessio will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 PM, 1 hour prior to the service at the Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made in Bill's memory to Alzheimer's Disease & Related Disorders Association-Mid State-SC, 3223 Sunset Blvd. Ste 100, W. Columbia, SC 29169.
William James "Bill" Biggins died Wednesday, July 2, 2014. He was born in Akron, OH, the son of William Wade Biggins and Georgene Kemp Biggins, both of Lake Bowen, SC. Bill loved Lake Wateree and taking care of his property and was an avid Gamecocks fan.
Besides his parents, Bill is survived by his beloved sweetheart of 10 years, Kathy Dickson; sons, James Thomas "Jim" Biggins (Keri) of Richmond, VA and Grayson Wade Biggins (Kathy) of Lake Wylie, SC; daughter, Lee Biggins Weiland (Mitch) of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Kyle and Jill Biggins, Patrick Weiland, and William Biggins.
Bill was predeceased by his sister, Pam Owings and his brothers, Gary and Terry Biggins.
Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.

Like everyone else, I was shocked and saddened by the news of Bill's death. I have many happy memories of Bill at age 11-12 at Lake Bowen with his parents, sister and brother. My condolences to Bill's children, grandchildren and all who were close to him especially his parents. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your happy memories of Bill will help ease the grief we all feel right now.

Words cannot express the loss of "little Bill". As a younger cousin I always admired him and thought he had it all. My only regret is not seeing him sooner. Our lives here on earth are so short. Rest in peace cousin, and my sympathies to his family.

I was in total shock to learn of Dr. Biggins passing. He was the only dentist I had found that I trusted. I am going to miss him more than words can say. My heart and prayers go out to his family and staff. RIP.

I was so sad to hear my Dentist passed away, I loved his work, his kindness, making sure I felt no pain as I have receding gums. I will miss him. I did not know him for long as I just moved here 1.5 years ago and found he was the only Dentist that was reliable and extremely good with his work. A real shame to hear this. My sympathy's.
