Zella Blankenship Obituary
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Miss Zella Athlene Blankenship, age 85 of Spartanburg, went home to be with her Lord and the rest of her family on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home following an extended illness.
Miss Blankenship was born on May 18, 1932 in Glen Lyn, VA to the late Charles and Fairy Meadows Blankenship. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Inman and was the last of her immediate family of 18. She was predeceased by her grandson, Steven Blankenship.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Russell Blankship, and wife, Tina; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 11:00am at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Biggs to officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
