Dylan Bruce Obituary

Dylan Dustin "Huggy Bear" Bruce, 21, of Fisherville, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

Known to his friends as "Dilby," he was a 2014 graduate of Shelby County High School. He worked at Papa John's in Taylorsville before going to work for Ground Effects in Louisville. He started there as a general laborer and was quickly promoted to robotic maintenance, which he loved doing.

He enjoyed outdoor sports, being with people and his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Pam Bruce.

He was born in Augsburg, Germany, to Corinna and Edward Bruce on May 26, 1996.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Kevin and Shawn Bruce, both of Fisherville; grandmother, Eveline Zogler of Germany; grandfather, Jim Miller of Waddy; nephew, Kayden Bruce of Fisherville; uncle and aunt, Martin and Teresa Bruce of Waddy; uncle, Tom Bruce of Bagdad; aunt, Wilma Mack of Indiana; aunt and uncle, Loriane and Alex Holl, Germany; and numerous cousins.

Funeral service were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. David Clay officiating. Visitation was from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service.
