Albert HASLEBACHER Obituary

HASLEBACHER, Albert August 18, 1931 - July 15, 2015 Albert died July 15, 2015 as a result of a automobile accident. Albert Haslebacher was born August 18, 1931 in Salem, Oregon to Albert Joseph and Cecilia (Wolf) Haslebacher. Albert spent most of his working years with The Federal Land Bank. Albert loved fishing, golfing, darts and wine. He also loved his Spanish club, volunteering to read to young children and Toastmasters. Al was a member of the Unity Church in Redmond. Al is survived by his daughters, Pamela Haslebacher, and Lisa Reynolds; son Daniel (Peggy) Haslebacher; stepdaughter Sam Hatzenbeler; three grandchildren, Katie and Chris Haslebacher, Justin Reynolds; one great-grandchild Aubree Reynolds; brother Raymond Haslebacher (Mary); sister Carolyn Orr; and his best friend Al Burnett. Al was preceded in death by two brothers. A Graveside Service was held July 24, 2015 in Salem, Oregon.

To Al's family and friends,

I am so sorry for all of our loss. We have been part time neighbors of Al's at Eagle Crest for over ten years. He was a good friend and we grieve too in learning of his loss today. I feel very fortunate to have shared much of the morning of his last day. He and I had a lengthy coffee together. He shared his excitement for all he was doing and his up coming events. That man had a life!
I also learned from Al that his cousin Ike had passed away this year. I had the good fortune to have worked with Ike in 1981 and 1982 and again in 1990. Our lives are richer knowing these great guys.

To my Haslebacher cousins and families, shock and sadness to hear of Babe's passing. So sorry we were unable to attend his services, we had just left Ray and Mary's when we heard of his passing. Many years of good memories of Babe! Sending prayers to you all.
