Albert Roy NESBITT

NESBITT, Albert Roy Albert was born on January 10, 1930 in Lewiston Idaho. Albert passed away on December 22, 2020 at North Central Care & Rehabilitation. Albert went to Rogers High School and graduated June of 1947. Than later went in to the Air National Guard on January 22, 1948 where he worked as a supply clerk and a firefighter for the military until he was transferred on May 20, 1948 to The United States Marine Corps Reserve. Then was shipped off to war in Korea and was wounded in Battle of Inchon where he received the Purple Heart Medal and was discharged from the Marine Corps Reserve October 18, 1954. Albert was married to Marietta Dickey from Reardan Washington December 31, 1960. Albert worked at the U.S. Post Office for 38 years as a Postal Employee. Albert worked often with the Boy Scouts of America and was a Leader of Troop 430 and was awarded the Silver Beaver Award. Albert also got the Acorn Award from the PTA of West Valley School District. Albert is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Catharine Nesbitt, brother Larry, and sister Connie Eaton. Albert is survived by wife Marietta, children Terry, David, Mark, Kevin, Chris, and Gail Nesbitt of Spokane Washington. Albert has many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be at Pines Cemetery Sunday April 18, 2021 at 10:00am. Reception will be at The VFW Post 51 on 300 W. Mission Ave., Spokane, WA 99201.
