Bless his heart. I have often thought of him over the years. So sorry for your loss. He was a genuine, good guy.

My mom, (turned 92 on August 4) was born and raised in the Latch Valley area, in Spokane. Everybody knew her as Hatsy, and is the oldest of seven. Her family, the Tanaka’s, are good friends with both the Stragier and Terhaar families. Thru my Mom, I got to know both families. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
