Allen L. DAVAZ

1933 - 2024

Passed away peacefully at his home September 23, 2024, at the age of 91. Allen was born in Furport, WA, on February 22, 1933, to George and Evelyn Davaz. Allen's profession was a machinist at Kaiser Aluminum Trentwood for 28 years, and also Precision Machines Spokane operation for five years, before retiring. Allen was a very talented carpenter and enjoyed building everything from China cabinets to footstools for the grandchildren. He also enjoyed building and flying r/c model airplanes. He loved to take his children camping and especially fishing, and also enjoyed Elk hunting with his brother-in-law, Jim Anderson, and all off their friends. Allen married Hazel Erickson in 1953, and they brought four children into this world. They divorced in 1964. Allen met the love of his life, Eula Fay Wisbey, and her three children, and they married in 1966. Allen and Eula had 39 wonderful years together until Eula's passing in 2005. In 2007, Allen relocated to Marsing, ID, and married Margaret Wood. They were together in love for 17 years. Allen was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Davaz; wife, Eula Davaz; stepson, Merle Wisbey; three brothers; and two sisters. Allen is survived by wife, Margaret; sister, Julie Anderson; Dan (Raelene) Davaz; Linda (Steve) Ringold; Cathy (John) Franklin; Penny Johnson; Clay (Leslie) Wisbey; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and many friends. Allen will be missed by all. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 3, 10:30 a.m., at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
