Andrew HOLGUIN Obituary
HOLGUIN, Andrew "Andy"
On April 11, 2017, Andrew "Andy" Holguin was called to his eternal rest. He is now once again united with his loving wife Nancy, who preceded him in death only a few years ago. Andy was born in California on May 14, 1934. He later settled in Spokane where he resided for over twenty-five years. He was involved in various community organizations, particularly as a member of the Inland Empire Hispanic Association (IEHA) and as a chartered member of the Hispanic Business-Professional Association (HBPA). Andy encouraged young people to reach for the stars in their education and careers. He set the example by obtaining a Masters Degree in International Marketing and by holding responsible positions in management as well as successfully operating his own business. He enthusiastically provided students and their parents with information on scholarships and job opportunities. Andy was especially proud of having founded a very successful a tutoring program based out of Gonzaga University with GU students volunteering as tutors and role models.
A Celebration of Andrew's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., June 10, 2017, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 4521 N. Arden Road, Otis Orchards.
