On September 5, 2011, Catherine (Cat) Evans passed away of unknown causes at her home in Airway Heights. Cat was born on June 16, 1970 in Orange County, CA to Linda Tucker and James Tucker. Cat was a caring person who loved to bring joy to others. Cat loved music; she had a great voice and used it to cheer up those around her. She went through life with a tune in her heart and a song on her lips. She married in 1988; although the marriage was unsuccessful it gave her two wonderful sons, Nick and Kyle Evans, who were always a source of pride. A hard worker, Cat was a single mom, working while going to school to try to make a better life for her family. Her ambition in life was to become a police officer, a good fit; Cat was protective of everyone she knew. In 2009, she met Jason Senter, her fiancé. She loved and cared for her two stepchildren like they were her own. He was the love of her life, and she was the love of his. She said it was the happiest time in her life. Cat's real passions were music, driving, large family parties, friends, dancing and Halloween. Cat will be dearly missed. She has been welcomed home now through the Gates of Heaven where she will be reunited with her son Andrew. Cat is survived by her fiancé Jason Senter; her children Nick Evans, and Kyle Evans; stepchildren Dezaray Senter and Justin Senter; her mother Linda Tucker; two brothers, three sisters, and fourteen nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 11:00 am at SPOKANE CREMATION AND FUNERAL SERVICE (2832 N. Ruby -" Spokane).
