In Loving Memory
Charles Stephen "Steve" Pope passed away peace- fully on September 7, 2011 at home in Chewelah, WA with his wife Shirlee at his side. Steve was born on September 6, 1942 to Jay and Elizabeth Pope in Madison, WI. He is survived by his wife Shirlee, daughter Heidee McMillan, son Patrick Pope, grand-children Chad Pope, Megan Pope, Brent Pope, Zachary McMillan and sister Jayne Bundy. Steve was a teacher and builder. Steve worked hard, played hard and loved life. At his request there will be no services. It's been years (1982-85) since I had Mr. Pope as a teacher. But even after 25+ years I still have wonderful memories of his classes and the life lessons he taught me. Thank you for letting him be part of my life.
