Claudia Sybil WARWICK Obituary
WARWICK, Claudia Sybil
Jul 31, 1942 - Nov 16, 2025
Claudia's work on earth was complete, and she was called home to glory on November 16, 2025.
She was born July 31, 1942, in Odessa, Washington, to Leon and Dorothy Dobson. Throughout her childhood, she lived in Harrington, Odessa, Reardan, Othello, and Spokane, where she graduated from West Valley High School in 1960. She attended two years of college at Central Washington University before getting married to Edward Dooley. She had three sons, Todd, Mark, and Greg, who were the joy of her life.
Being in an Air Force family, she lived in Plattsburgh, New York, where Todd was born, and Ipswich, England, where Mark and Greg were born. After leaving the Air Force, they returned to the states and lived in many locations including Pullman, WA for a year, Boise, ID for three years, and North Carolina for three years, before settling in Eagle, Idaho for 15 years.
Introduced to hard work at an early age, this continued throughout her life. She held several jobs throughout the years. The most important and dear to her heart was a stay-at-home mom. When the boys started to leave for college, she went to work at Ore-Ida Foods in Boise as an Administrative Services Coordinator.
She divorced and reunited with Donald Warwick, her high school sweetheart and the love of her life. She moved to Moscow, Idaho, where they were married in 1990. She was blessed with three stepchildren, Kristan, Troy, and Traci, who quickly became like her own. While in Moscow, she worked at Northwestern Mutual Life as an associate agent.
After retirement, Don and Claudia moved to their dream life in the forest near the little town of Syringa, Idaho. Here they lived happily ever after taking care of each other, loving the solitude, peaceful and quiet way of life. They kept busy gardening, canning, and keeping up with the home and acreage. They were never tired of sitting by the creek, watching the birds, smelling the fresh air and nature. Growing old together, they were constant companions.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Don Warwick; her sons, Todd Dooley, Mark Dooley, and Greg (Kris) Dooley; her stepchildren, Kristan Warwick, Troy (Angie) Warwick and Traci (Jeff) Good; and eight precious grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Dorothy Dobson; her brothers, Terry and Dennis Dobson; her grandchild, Abbi (Dooley) Anderson; her grandparents, Burige and Christina Armstrong, Claud and Sybil Dobson; and aunts and uncles, Georgia Mae and Jim Kinzel, Florence Plavinski and Norman Armstrong.
