Clyde TREVASKIS

1934 - 2024

Spokane Valley - Clyde R. Trevaskis passed away at Guardian Angel Homes in Liberty Lake, WA, on July 8, 2024. He was born November 13, 1934 in Miles City, MT. Clyde graduated from St. Regis High School in 1952 and Northern Montana College in 1954. He served in the US Navy from March 1956 to October 1957. Clyde worked as a business credit manager for several different companies during his career and retired in 2002. He enjoyed golf, playing guitar, Hawaiian vacations, and watching Gonzaga basketball and Seattle Mariners baseball. He was also very active in church activities and volunteering. Clyde was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice White Trevaskis; mother, Elinor; and stepfather, Alex Roots; father, Clyde M. Trevaskis; brother, Dwaine Trevaskis; sister, Marlene Durland; grandson, Tony Vaughn; and stepson, Thad Rutter. Clyde is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; daughters, Dorrie Watkins, Terry (Shawn) Larsen, Tracy (Brian) Guimond; son, Cory (Peggy) Trevaskis; stepson, Bret (Lisa) Rutter; stepbrother, Dallas Roots; and stepsister, Ramona Hildahl. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 23, 2024, at Liberty Lake Church, 704 S. Garry Rd., Liberty Lake, WA. A reception will follow at the church. We wish to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Horizon Hospice of Spokane and Guardian Angel Homes for their compassionate care. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Clyde can be made to Union Gospel Mission, Horizon Hospice of Spokane, or Liberty Lake Church.
