Dan Gene Conlon, 69, of Long Beach, Washington (formerly of Spokane), passed away on February 7, 2026, after a long battle with cancer.
Dan was born on January 24, 1957, in Japan, to John and Margie Conlon. As part of a military family, he moved frequently during his childhood. He graduated from high school in 1975 and went on to attend Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon, where he met his wife, Connie. After graduating in 1979, the two were married in 1980.
Dan worked in security for several years before becoming a travel agent - a career he truly loved and enjoyed until his cancer diagnosis in 2023. He spent most of his adult life in Spokane, Washington, where he attended Trinity Baptist Church.
Dan loved Jesus, playing basketball, traveling, and spending time with friends and family - especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; daughter, Michele (Brett) Rezewski; son, Ryan (Regina) Conlon; and five grandchildren: Conner, Easton, Kaiden, Thea, and Teijo. He is also survived by his father, John Conlon; sister, Sarah (Andy) Pernick; brother, Tom (Yadi) Conlon; as well as nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Dan's life will be held on Saturday, February 28th, at 1:00 PM at Redeeming Grace Church (formerly Trinity Baptist Church), 6528 N. Monroe St., Spokane, WA.
"Dan will be remembered for his steady faith, his love for his family, and the quiet strength he carried through every season of life. While he will be deeply missed, his family finds peace knowing he is now whole and at home with the Lord."

Dan was such a great friend and travel agent! He always made trips so much fun because he was so enthusiastic and inquisitive. We miss him so much and counted he and Connie as dear friends.

Watching old comedy shows was more fun with Dan as he would laugh out loud at all the silly jokes. Also I loved his enthusiasm for life. Always on the move.
