David KEETCH Obituary

KEETCH, David Paul

David was received back to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 12, 2017. He died at home surrounded by his loving family and friends and his loving wife after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Dave was born December 7, 1953 to Ralph (deceased) and Ruth Keetch. He attended Ferris High School and enlisted in the U.S. Marines on July 30th, 1971. He served six years active duty at Camp Pendleton and Oahu, HI. He was honorably discharged on July 27th, 1977. He spent his later working years at Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #55, Spokane Packaging, A/F Mechanical, Target Mechanical and 20+ years at Divco Inc.
Dave was an avid fisherman, hunter, and camper. He loved traveling to a cabin in Alaska, which he helped build with friends. Priest Lake was a cherished place for Dave and he loved spending time there on his boat with family and fishing with friends. His family, though, was always of upmost importance to Dave. He was a kind and loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather.
Dave was a good friend to all who called him friend and was fierce in his loyalty and devotion.
Dave is survived by his mother Ruth Keetch Thompson, his beloved wife of 29 years Lisa, his sons Trevor (Alison) Matthew (Stephani) and Zachary. He also leaves behind his twin brothers Roger (Christie) and Rodney (Nancy), brother R.J., sister Melody, two grandchildren Dylan and soon to welcome, Greysen, as well as many nieces and nephews and devoted friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Dave on Saturday, August 26th from 1:00 to 3:30 at St. Thomas More, 505 W. St. Thomas More Way, Spokane WA. There will be a private service at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery with his family. In lieu of flowers the family also asks that you please send donations to Disabled American Veteran's (DAV) at 212 S. David St., Spokane Valley, WA 99212.
