It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother "GG," Dolores "Dee" Berg, who passed away in her home on January 23rd, 2026.
Born Dolores Cavolo and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she raised one daughter and two sons in Spokane, WA, with her husband, Tom. After her children were grown, she and Tom traveled the world and became snowbirds with annual trips to Palm Desert, CA, for their retirement years.
Dee worked for many years in the healthcare field for local chiropractors, and after retirement, she spent 20 years as a volunteer at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was especially passionate about the Pet Therapy Program. She also served as the President of the Volunteer League.
Dolores and Tom were married for 67 years, and he preceded her in death in 2023. She is survived by her three children, Tom (Denise) Berg, Linda (Mike) Goolsby, and Kevin Berg; her grandchildren, Jaime (Max) Koedding, Brady Elliott, and Max Elliott; her great-grandson, Kane Koedding, whom she adored; and many other friends and family, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Dolores was a kind, caring, and loving person who radiated beauty from the inside out. She will forever be remembered for her sass and class by all who had the privilege of being a part of her life.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at Hennessey Funeral Home and Crematory at 1:30 PM.
