Dorothy MANN Obituary
Grass Valley - Dorothy Ann Mann, born September 30, 1940, in Bend, Oregon, and passed away peacefully February 22, 2025, in Grass Valley, Oregon, in the presence of her daughters, Betsy Casper, Rita Goddard; Dorothy's granddaughter, Emilee Sullivan; and great-granddaughter, Saydie Alvarez.
Dorothy was a stay-at-home mother who was involved in her children's lives. Dorothy was also an incredible seamstress and made many clothes and quilts for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When Dorothy's husband Gordon passed away Dorothy went to live with her daughter, Betsy, and son-in-law, Gerald Casper, in Grass Valley, Oregon. Dorothy lived with Betsy and Gerald three and a half years until she went to be with Jesus.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Mann, in 2021; her parents, Mable Stella Collette and Lloyd Earl Burs; and her sisters and brother, Carol Creager, Barbara Morgan and Richard Burse.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Betsy (Gerald) Casper, Tim (Stacey) Mann, Jeff (Farrah) Mann and Rita (John) Goddard; grandchildren, Tiffany Sconiers, Sean James, Emilee Sullivan, Michael Mann, Kaitlynn Mann, Gunnar Mann, Alesha Farmer, Lauren Dinneen and Katie Wolff; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service to be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 14, at Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 Wellesley Ave., Spokane, WA. Graveside burial will take place at 12:00 Noon, same address. Friends are welcome to attend either or both ceremonies with the Mann Family.
