There was no greater joy than going to visit aunt Dorothy. When you got to the door, you were greeted with a big smile and arms wide open for a wonderful hug. Always in my heart.

Dear Family;

I was saddened to hear of your loss.
When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange.
Hold on to those memories and let them guide you during this time of sadness.
I am your cousin Sharon Lee (Winter) I know we haven't seen each other for a long time and I'm not sure if I will be able to attend the funeral as we are on vacation this week and my boss is out of town until we resume work on Monday so I am not able to make advance arrangements. If I am not able to attend know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Know she has joined the family that has gone before her (my dad is Albert Winter) and they are happier than ever before.

Dear Cindy, Brian, Ashley, Bryson, Steve, Vicki and Jennifer:

I am so very sorry for your loss. Aunt Dorothy was a very special person and I will miss her so much. She always held a special place in my heart even though we did not see each other often. I enjoyed hearing from her in letters or phone calls. She sometimes called around Christmas time to see what she could send my mom as a gift. She was also there for me after my mom died. I felt so comfortable sharing with her, probably because I think our moms had a lot of similarities as sisters.

She was always so proud of all of her family and talked highly of everyone. She loved you all so very much. What a blessing you all were to her!

Heaven is a happier place this week as she joins so many loved ones: her parents, husband, daughter Kathy, granddaughter Heather and her siblings Polly, Al and my mom, Vi.

I will continue to keep you in my prayers,
