Edgar SHIELDS Obituary
1928 - 2018
We must say goodbye to our much loved and fun loving husband and father. Ed was born and raised in Abbington PA. Since 1962, Ed and his wife Margaret have made Liberty Lake their home.
He attended the University of Montana and was the owner of several night clubs. Ed loved playing drums, tennis and golf. He had three holes-in-one, while being charter member of Meadowwood Golf Course. He was also a member of the Spokane Club.
Ed is survived by his wife, Margaret, of 55 years; his five children: Paul Shields (Brianna), Diane Bafus, Grant Shields (Becky), Shelley Allen (Raymond) and Keith Shields (Brenda); also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Horizon Hospice and Comfort Keepers for their kindness and help. A family memorial is planned at a later date.

Ed will be missed by those that knew him, as he always had a smile on his face and could be counted on to tell a good joke if asked. He lived life large and it was our pleasure to be a friend of Ed's. We will truly miss his smile and his presence. Sweet dreams Edgar!

To the family I'm so sorry for your loss. Ed was one of the nicest people I've ever met he always had a smile even if he didn't remember who you were he was still really nice to you. lots of good memories. Such a fine man. He's playing golf in heaven with my mom and dad( Bill and Audra Penick).
