Elaine BARILETTI

Elaine E. Bariletti passed peacefully at Rockwood South Hill on November 29, 2023. Her final comfort was the presence of her daughters and grandchildren.

She was born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, in 1925 to John and Emma Gwynn. As a small child she moved with her family to Minnesota where she was raised and educated.

She married her high school sweetheart Robert Bariletti, and they lived in Minneapolis while finishing their education at the University of Minnesota. In 1954 she moved to Yakima where her husband established a Dental practice, and the family grew with the addition of four children. In 2014 they moved to Spokane to be near family.

Elaine immersed herself in and making civic contributions through hospital guilds and church, where she served on numerous committees and functions.

Surviving family members include daughters Katherine, Pamela (Dave), and Colette (Gary), sister Ruth, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son Bob, and brothers George, John, and Wallace.

Her Rosary will be Monday, December 11, 2023, at 5pm at St. Peter Catholic Church, Spokane, WA, 3520 E. 18th Ave., Spokane, WA 99223. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 10am also at St. Peter Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
