PORTER, Ellen (Robertson) "Bobbi" February 9, 1920 -December 25, 2015 After a long and blessed life Ellen Robertson Porter (Bobbi) passed away at 3:00 AM Christmas mor-ning. She was a doting and unique mother and grandmother with a rare sense of humor and an occasional sharp tongue. She didn't seem to have difficulty transitioning into the new millennium, often surprising her children, grandchildren and their friends with her modern-day observations. She has left us after a lifetime of love, laughs and great stories. She was born on February 9, 1920 in Olympia, Washington, to Edward White Robertson and Beulah Partlow. She is a descendant of General James Robertson who was a co-founder of Nashville and an early companion of Daniel Boone. She married Thomas Shannon Porter Sr. in Coeur d Alene, Idaho on December 19, 1946. She is survived by three of her four children: Thomas Jr. (Marybeth Sagerson) Mark (Jane Boyd) and Susie; and seven grandchildren, Thomas R., James and Paige Porter, Katey Randall Treloar, Jamie Randall Lanier, Riley Porter Roninger and Jack Porter. She was enchanted with her two great-grandchildren, Charley and Henry Treloar. She was pre-deceased by Thomas Sr. (1986) and by her adored daughter Carol O'Brien Porter Randall (Clay) who passed away March 6, 2010. The Vigil will be held at 6:00 PM, December 30th at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division, Spokane, WA. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, December 31st at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 428 West 19th, Spokane, WA 99203.
