Jerry passed through the gates of Heaven on December 5, 2025. Born on November 8, 1948, to parents Leo and Alice LeClaire. He lived most of his life in Spokane, WA, graduating from Lewis and Clark High School, class of '67. He went on to Spokane Falls Community College, where he met the love of his life, Donna (LaTurner) LeClaire. They were married on May 31, 1978, in a field at Green Bluff. They shared three daughters and had an abundance of grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 44-years; brothers: Bruce and Rodney; and grandson Tim "TJ" Jessick. He is survived by his sisters: Patricia Ostin and Donna Willms; daughters: Dessa Hammond, Denise (Michael) O'Connor, and Michelle (Shane) Daniels; grandchildren: Shandi, Jacob, Michael, Bill, Drewann, Jerome, Aiden, Michaela, and Mackenzie; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Jerry was active in his faith and a dedicated friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob for over 34 years. He worked for many years at St. Patrick's School doing janitorial work. Jerry was a very active husband, father, and grandfather. Spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite. He enjoyed watching and talking sports with his longtime friend, John Morin. Jerry was well known for his infectious humor and his gift to make others laugh! He will be greatly missed by all! A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Riverview Retirement Community for "Walkin' on the wild side" with dad. The care and compassion he received were a true blessing. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 1:00pm at Hennessey Funeral Home.
