Spokane - Harley "Mac" Eldon McLaughlin, aged 98, passed away on September 30, 2025, in Spokane, Washington. Born on October 8, 1926, Harley lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his country, and his passions.

After graduating from Lewis and Clark High School in 1944, Harley joined the Navy and served during World War II, stationed in the Philippines. His military service was a profound part of his life, reflecting his commitment and bravery.

Following his service, Harley embarked on a longstanding career with Kaiser Aluminum, where he worked at both the Mead and Trent wood facilities in the Spokane area. His work ethic and dedication were well known among his colleagues and friends.

Harley was a devoted husband to his late wife, Gladys, with whom he shared 57 cherished years. He is survived by his loving children, Dorothy Ochsner, Jim McLaughlin, Barry McLaughlin, Deena Castagna, Mike Inman, Rick Inman, and Jerry Inman, who will hold fond memories of their father's adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. Harley's love for travel, boating, fishing, camping, and snowmobiling brought great joy to him and his family, creating lasting memories during numerous family outings.
