Helen Dashiell

DASHIELL, Helen Our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed into the arms of angels on Monday, August 23, 2010. Helen is survived by her son Charles (Judy) Dashiell,Georgetown, TX, daughter Jeannette (Gary) Wraspir, Liberty Lake, WA and daughter Kathy (Rich) McKinney, Sacramento, CA,sister Betty (Gordon) Littig, Alexandria, VA seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Richard (Dick) Dashiell, parents Charles and Lena Schell, sisterDarlene Kagele, granddaughter Cynthia Wraspir and baby grandsonRichard Edward Dashiell. Helen was born in Ruff, WA July 27, 1919 where she attended grade school then high school in Marlin,WA and senior year at Hartline, WA. Shecompleted secretarial school in Spokane where she met and married her husband who was attending barber school. After the passing of Dick'sfather, they moved to Marlin, WA to run the town tavern and barber shop and raised their family until they moved to Odessa, WA in 1963. She was active in community charities, church and hospital guild. Upon retirement she and Dick wintered in Apache Junction, AZ until his passing in 2001 and spent the last six years at Guardian Angel Homes in Liberty Lake. There will be a family memorial at the Odessa Cemetery at a later date,Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane, P.O.
