Hobart Teneff Obituary

TENEFFHobart (Age 89) Passed away July 4, 2009 at his Spokane home of natural causes. Hobart was born on March 22, 1920 in Spokane, WA; he was the son of George and Helen (Stevens) Teneff. Hobart served in the Navy during WW II and later graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in Chemical Engineering; He formed and operated an engineering and sales company for 26 years in Spokane, which furnished machines to the construction and mining industries. In the 1980's, Hobart and Frank Duval formed Pegasus Gold, which became a major precious metals company. Mr. Teneff was also President of Gold Reserve, with headquarters in Spokane, and helped develop a gold project in Venezuela. Mr. Teneff had been retired for a number of years, but was still active in the investment community. Hobart is survived by his sister, Marjorie Doyl, his brother, Steve Teneff; nieces, Diane and Janice Kelley and nephews, Ron and Russ Doyl. Memorial contributions may be made to Gonzaga University. Funeral services for Hobart Teneff will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 2:00 pm, in the Alwin Chapel of HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME 1306 N. MONROE. Graveside services will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery. Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home 1306 N. Monroe is in charge of arrangements.

Barbara- oldest living lady drummer in world!

I fell in love with Hobart in 1960. I was 25. But circumstances meant I had to return to England. I never forgot him. Bless you Hobart, I loved you but had to leave. I do hope he had a happy life!
