So many wonderful memories of Jim. From when our children were little from going to our lake cabinet Newman Lake playing cards between water skiing and drinking our gallons and gallons of wine with so many of our mutual friends, playing softball and the great times after at the pizza places, playing cards in a card group, Harvey going on snowmobile trips with the guys. Just so hard to remember all great times from so many yrs ago. He will be missed! Megan truly our hearts go out to you at this time as life will never be the same without him for you but like us left with so many wonderful memories to cherish all your life he loved you so much and was so proud of all your accomplishments. Sending prayers to you. Also to Pam and Julie for the loss of your dad.

Uncle Jim has given me so many great memories and laughs. I will cherish them forever! I wish I could have made it up to see him. I was excited to share with him that the dime jar he gave me years ago has been passed down to my son. That was a special moment for me to pass that down and tell Caden about its origin, and I know Uncle Jim would have loved it. I'll miss all the hugs and cheek kisses. I love you uncle Jim. Heaven is in for a real treat!
I love you Aunt Megan.

I am saddened to learn of the loss of Jim. Jim made a lasting impression on me from the moment I met him back in 1982, as a friend of Pam. He was a man that truly cared about people and what was happening in their lives. Whether he was hauling us girls to accompany him to wrestling matches, or hosting a dinner for us and our dates, he always took interest in what we were doing and had to say. I loved him like a father and was blessed to have him and Megan at my wedding, years later. Thank you, Jim, for being a part of my life! My deepest condolences to his family.

I can"t do this right now. I loved him so much,
. He was the best friend anyone could have had. I had Thanksgiving lunch with him and Megan at St. Lukes. That"s the last time I saw my good friend. I talked to him Sun. night and the next day he was gone. I want to thank Megan for thinking about me. Steve Taitch. My heart is broken.

I met Jim back in the early 80's after becoming friends with his daughter Pam. He always made me laugh, he always had something funny to say, he was a true and honest human being. He was a hard worker, loved his family and will always be remembered in a positive way. Jim, I love you and will miss you very much. You were are huge part of my. Childhood and I will always look back and remember your sarcastic wit! I for one, enjoyed it. You were one in a million!!!

I've known Jim all my life, as he's been one of my father's best friends for over 50 years, since they were at LC. Jim never failed to make me feel welcome--and crack me up--every time I saw him. He and Megan have been extraordinary friends to my dad, Steve Taitch, over the years, for which I am extremely grateful. I know how much he will be missed by everyone who loved him.
