Jodi CORY-WEEKS Obituary
Jodi was born on December 6, 1976, in Spokane, Washington, and was the daughter of Greg and Linda Cory. She was married to Josh Weeks, and together they had a son Gannon who is now age 13. He was at the center of Jodi's life.
As a National Board-Certified Educator, she enjoyed 20-plus years of teaching Science and Biology. She also completed doctoral work in education. Jodi was gifted athletically and received a scholarship to play Division 1 basketball for the University of New Mexico Lobos.
She was preceded in death by her father Greg Cory, and is survived by her son Gannon of Centennial Colorado, her mother Linda, and husband Harvey Depew of Spokane, Jami her brother of Castle Rock, Colorado, and many other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 7, at North Church, 8303 N Division St. in Spokane. A reception with light refreshments will follow.

Jodi was so special. I remember coaching her in 7th and 8th grade basketball. She was so talented. More than that however, she was was a great teammate, always gave 100 percent, and was a coaches dream. So sorry for your loss, loved Jodi. In my prayers, coach Jim Jenson.
