Jose Vigil Obituary
He was a life long resident of Spokane and was a well known award winning hairdresser in the community. He loved fishing and boating on "El Nino" as well as snow skiing and especially playing guitar. Jose was a loving caring father, husband, brother, uncle, and most of all - friend. He was larger than life and totally dedicated to his family.
Jose is survived by his wife Delores. His children with his first wife Joan: Jolene Serpinas (Mike), Marina Pounder (Lance), Mark Vigil (Elizabeth), George Vigil (Diane) Theresa Mallory (Bernard). Papa's grandchildren: Michaele, Noah, Mathew, Marenda, Max, Dre and Lisa. His great grandchildren: Isaiah, Mya, Jordan, Henry, Andreas and Maesaiah. His sister Elvia Gallegos and brothers Luis, Gabe, and Richard. His beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life and legacy will be held 6/23/18 at Summit Church. 1801 E. 29th Spokane WA from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

I had worked on the Railroad with Jose and also attended beauty School with him .My best friend Michael A Downing also did the same with Jose. We lost Mike in 1977. God Bless you all.I'm truly sorry.

Jose was like a father to me. I've known him since I was in grade school with Mena. Such a beautiful family and legacy. The absolute best hairdresser I've known and he taught all of us with great joy! Wonderful memories that I will always cherish. God Bless you Jose, you will be missed ~ Susan
