Linda REISNOUER Obituary
Linda Reisnouer was born July 16, 1949, and passed away on September 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Her death was sudden and unexpectedly from a stroke. Linda was born and raised in Devils Lake, ND, graduating in 1967 from Devils Lake High School.
She married Larry Reisnouer on July 14, 1967, and was married for 58 years.
In 1968 Linda and Larry moved from Devils Lake to Spokane, where they started a family and had two children, Bobbi and Scott.
While raising their children, Linda entered the banking field, working at various Spokane area banks including First Interstate, and retired from the Washington Trust Operations Center after 25 years of service.
Once retired, she was active in both her children's and grandchildren's lives. She enjoyed going on trips with her family to Hawaii, the Oregon Coast, North Idaho, North Dakota, Montana, and made frequent visits to Western Washington.
Living in the same North Spokane home for 40 years, Linda was a spectacular home maker. She took great pride in her home and enjoyed decorating, cooking, gardening, arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed a good party.
Linda was an active member of Assumption Catholic Church for 35 years and proudly saw both her children and all three of her grandchildren active in the Catholic community. She was also a member of the Spokane Corvette Club with her husband for many years and enjoyed driving Corvettes and Camaros.
Though Linda's death was sudden, her life will be remembered for her love of her family, devotion to her faith, and the home she built with her husband, Larry.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Reisnouer; her two children, Bobbi (Spokane) and Scott (Cory) Reisnouer (Lake Tapps, WA); grandchildren, Jared (Spokane), Carson, and Amelia Reisnouer (Lake Tapps, WA); her mother, Lena Keck (Cando, ND); sisters, Pam (Bo) Cunningham and Kelli (Joe) Rinas (Spokane); brothers, Todd and Troy (Patti Jo) Meier (Devils Lake, ND); as well as by her nieces and nephews, Jess Hocket, Stacey Carruthers, Cole Hocket, Nevaeh Jo Meier, Bethany Rinas, Amanda, and Brianna Meier. Her father, Robert Meier, preceded her in death.
You were taken from us too early, but now you are with the angels.
A Celebration of Linda's life will be held on October 11, 2025, from 3 pm to 6 pm. Please come by our home and help us say goodbye. No flowers please.
