Judith HETLAND Obituary
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, John Alan Hetland; son Terry Holmgren of Spokane, WA; daughter Karyn Wilson of Versailles, IN; daughter Kami Hoekema of Spokane, WA; stepson Gerald Hetland of Spokane, WA; stepson Marc Meadows of Kirkland, WA; stepson David Hetland of Bothell, WA; stepdaughter Stena Kennedy of Puyallup, WA; stepdaughter Lisa Van Hagen of Tacoma, WA; 25 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Judy was a founding member of Mt. Spokane Embroidery Guild and also a member of Spokane Falls Needlework Guild, American Needlework Guild, Northwest Sampler Guild, Rose City Stitchers, and Nimble Fingers Thimble Club. She held many offices for these groups and was always there to help others. Judy was a member of Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church for many years, where she volunteered in the nursery and as a wedding coordinator.
A memorial service will be held on October 3, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church, 4102 S Crestline St, Spokane, WA 99203.

Judy and I had been friends for over 50 years. We always remained in touch even over the years. She was a candle in my window for peace and caring. I will never loose my love for her. She was a loving and caring friend. Gracious and giving, of love , positive thoughts and hope. I will miss her terribly. God bless her whole family and all that love her. Peace be with you Alan in your sorrow.
