(Age 40)
"Greater love has no man than this, that he should lay down his life for his friends (daughters)." John 15:13
On April 13th,2024 Justin's life was hastily taken from this world. Justin's journey began on a late summer day September 25th,1983, in Spokane, WA. He was born to Terri Clark (Smith) and Leonard Daniel both of Spokane. Justin was raised primarily in Chattaroy, WA, where he was active in many sports, mainly football, eventually playing for a semi-pro team, Wolfpack. Justin attended Riverside High School and after graduation pursued a career as an Auto Salesman. Justin loved life and loved people. He found joy in his career being able to help individuals find the perfect car for their needs. He went out of his way time after time to ensure that his customers were served well. This effort created lasting relationships and customers for Justin over the years and speaks to his diligence and care for others.
Though he enjoyed his career, it was just a means to support his real passion and love in life…his three daughters: Amaya (20), Sophia (15), and Arabella (3) all of Spokane. Justin was a devoted and loving father whose purpose in life was to provide, support, and even, up to the last moments of his life, to protect his daughters. You could often find him going out of his way to be present for every volleyball game that he could to support Amaya and Sophia. His days off with Arabella were spent fully devoted to her in play, activity, and their favorite, eating 'dragon soup'. His love for his family was deep. Those of us who had the privilege to call him brother, son, or daddy would describe Justin as compassionate, dependable, humorous, generous, a best friend, giving, lighthearted, selfless, and loyal.
Justin is survived by his three daughters, Amaya Daniel (20), Sophia Daniel (15), and Arabella Daniel (3); mother, Terri (David) Smith; brother, Joshua (Tessa) Daniel; sisters, Jessica (Devin) Shuck, Nicole (Cameron) Gump, and Jennifer (Justin) Lingenfelter; along with many nieces and nephews, all of Spokane. Justin is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Daniel; beloved grandmother Daniel; and brother, Barry Smith. Justin professed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as a boy during vacation bible school. The recent loss of his earthly father, Leonard, caused Justin to rely more on and draw closer to his Heavenly Father. We find peace and comfort in knowing that Justin is at rest in the arms of Jesus.
A celebration of life will be held at Life Center Church (1202 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224) on Saturday, June 1st, at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers and cards, we ask that donations be made in Justin's honor to help continue to support the present and upcoming needs of his three girls. Donations can be made at any STCU branch to the "Justin Daniel Memorial Fund". Love fearlessly, live with devotion, and laugh often! Please visit
