Kenneth McCOY Obituary

Kenneth William McCoy, a proud veteran of the United States Army, passed away April 6, 2024, of natural causes.

The son of Bruce and Anna McCoy, Ken was born November 18, 1943, in Burton, OH.

Ken enlisted in the United States Army in 1965 and served in Vietnam working on assault helicopters until 1967. He then served in Standby Reserves until 1971. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of SP4.

Ken is survived by his wife Cheryl; daughters, Jaime (Roy), Kendra (Brent), and Jill (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Jackson, Ella, Makenzie, Hayden, Nathan, and Reese. Ken is also survived by his brothers, Harold (Linda), Enoch, and Timothy (Kathleen), their children, and grandchildren.

Military Honors will be at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, immediate family members only. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 11, from 1-3pm, at the Valley Eagles, 16801 E. Sprague Ave., Spokane Valley, WA

In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in his honor to Veterans Affairs, Veterans of Foreign Wars, or the National Wild Turkey Federation. To leave condolences for the family, visit www.hennesseyvalley.com.
