Laurence ZOESCH Obituary

June 27, 1955 - September 9, 2025

Spokane - Laurence "Larry" Zoesch, our beloved brother, father, uncle, and friend, left this world way too soon on September 9, 2025, at the young age of 70.

Born on June 27, 1955, in Spokane, Washington, to Allen and Jeanette Zoesch. Larry grew up with a quick wit, a compassionate heart, and a knack for making people laugh-even in life's toughest moments. He had a gift for finding connection everywhere he went, whether sharing jokes with coworkers, stories with friends, or quiet wisdom with his family.

After High School, Larry joined the Air Force and later received an honorable discharge. Larry spent several years working for local grocers before beginning a long and meaningful career in Corrections for Spokane County. He was known for his calm presence, humor, and fairness which earned him the respect of colleagues and inmates alike.

A man of faith, warmth, and endless good humor, Larry lived young, loved deeply, and left a mark that will never fade. His spirit will be forever carried forward in the laughter of friends, the love of his family, and the countless memories of shared stories, smiles, and small acts of kindness.

A memorial celebrating Larry's life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 5021 N. Nelson St, Spokane, WA 99217, with a reception to follow nearby (details to come).

Though gone too soon, Larry's laughter, generosity, and warmth will live on in all of us. Heaven just got a little funnier-and a lot more fun.
