Letricia NOLAND Obituary

NOLAND, Letricia Vida "Pat" Pat went peacefully to her Lord on May 20th, 2020. Pat was born to John and Ruby Nolen in October of 1928 in Sandpoint, Idaho. She was the middle child of seven kids. She graduated Sandpoint High in 1947 and immediately married the love of her life Deaver on June 1st. She was married to Deaver 61 years at the time of his passing in 2008. She was also preceded in death by their oldest son Danny in 2012. She is survived by her sisters Dolores Turnbull, Pauline Welter, Nancy Johnson, brothers James Nolen, Steve Oliver, her children Ona, Deanna, Joe, Ruby, by 16 grandchildren and 20+ great-grandchildren. Pat was an incredible person who brought boundless energy and determination to everything she did. She loved family, friends, dancing, fishing, knitting, playing cards, instigating fun and the Zags. Pat will be dearly missed but we all know she is dancing in Heaven with Deaver. Please no flowers and donations can be made to Hospice house or a charity of your choosing. A memorial will be held later when it is safe for everyone to hug each other.

We have known Pat and Deaver since their days in Sandpoint living off Division St....the kids were just little back then...my girlfriend Sharon Kirkham Finney babysat for them...Later when I married into the Allen family my sister in law, Twila was Deaver's niece!..Sadly we didn;t see much of them after their move to Rosalia...once in awhile at the All Sandpoint Reunions that use to be held in here we would catch up.
Our thoughts are with you kids ....she was a lovely person. Her smile says it all.

When I moved to Rosalia in the 70's I was fortunate to make a great friend with Ruby who in turn brought me into the family of Pat and Deaver Noland. Pat was an amazing woman in many ways. So strong and caring.
She leaves us with good memories and wonderful wisdom. Pat made a person's life better with her humor. In her smiling laughing way she gave us wisdom and life skills Pat is forever in my heart.

Pat was one of my all time favorite residents at Riverview Terrace. Pat was motivated to complete creative tasks, crafts and activities despite her health challenges. She inspired me to do my best as an occupational therapist. She was truly a bright spark, a lovely person, and so thoughtful of others. She will be missed.

I will miss you Mom, you had a special way to stay in our lives even though we lived so far apart. I remember video calls on the computer, back in the early nineties, when you had to wait for a picture to build up, (ahead of your time, keeping in touch). You will always be in our hearts. And birthday presents for the kids, you sent money I bought the gift, informed you, so when you called on the day and ask how they liked their gift, the kids were always amazed how you knew so well what they wanted.
We talked often in the last years that you missed Dad, and wanted to be with him. Give him a kiss for me.
Love always Ruby & Jenna

Am so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I will always remember her as a fantastic and strong woman. I had the privilege of becoming friends with her when she and my folks moved into Holman Gardens. I will forever remember her smile, wit and her sass!! Prayers and hugs to you all. Kris, Walter and Bryce Dale
