Wish I could have met him. I have been doing some research on my uncle (William .F Savage nick name was Doc Savage) who was the navigator on the B17 that Jack piloted. My uncle always talked about the reunions and how fond he was of Jack. He let me read a book which I think was written by your dad. I have been trying to find out if they are in print or are going to be reprinted. Do you have any information as to which web sights might have pictures of the plane. I have pictures of the crew in front of the plane but none with the name I believe it was The Betty Jean after your mom.

I live in Portland Oregon and wish I had been a little quicker on the research.
