What a great brother-in-law you were Lonnie. My daughters loved you so very much. I remember the trip you took with us to see Uncle George in Maine - what fun we had. We will miss you.

Lonnie was my big brother, my mentor and my friend. I love him very very much and will miss him terribly. I know that he is in the presence of his best friend, the best friend any one of us could ever have, Jesus.

I mostly knew Uncle Lonnie as a teenager, but I will always remember his smile and generosity. I have one very special memory of him taking me and one of his daughters to a Spokane Chiefs Hockey Game. I will never forget it. He is now in the presence of the Lord where we all shall meet again to enjoy a new beginning.

My family lived a short distance from Lonnie's family during our childhood years. Between him and his siblings and me and my siblings, we sure had alot of fun in the neighborhood. We have great memories of those years. We are saddened to learn of Lonnie's passing and his family is in our prayers.

I've known Lonnie since we were tots. He's always been such a special friend and I've enjoyed keeping in touch throughout the years. I know he's now free of pain and in a much better place. Although he and his laugh will be missed, it's good to know we'll see him again some day around God's throne. Joyce (Thackwell) Haefele now in Ahtens, GA
