Lorna CHICK Obituary

CHICK,
Lorna Mary
(Age 78)

Lorna was born in 1933 in Jordan, Montana, moved to White Pine at the age of three years. Graduated from Thompson Falls High School in 1951. Moved to Spokane WA in 1953. She passed peacefully at home with family. Alzheimer's disease is not the way she wanted to spend the last three years of her life. Married Thery Robinson in 1954; two children, Bradley and Karla. Re-married to Richard Chick in 1974. Worked various jobs before becoming a licensed practical nurse at Spokane Community College. Veterans Medical Center Hospital was where she chose to spend 22 years retiring with several accommodations. Traveling the U.S. in the winter and returning to her family in the summer until her husband's health wouldn't allow. Family was important to her searching out the family tree; sending copies to whomever she though would want one. She is survived by her brother, Gale; nephews, Rod, Tim, Larry (Carrie); and niece, Jeri (Rowdy) and four grandnieces and nephews; son, Bradley (Ann) Robison; daughter, Karla (Tony) OCampo; grandchildren, Shaunna (Mike) Jordon, Christy (Jon) Lundy, Justin (Karen) Robison, Meagan Davis, Jesse Johnson, Mariah Johnson; and 7 great -grandchildren. Please join her family in remembering Lorna at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home on September 7, 2012 at 6:00p.m. Please visit Lorna's online memorial and leave a message of condolence at www.hennesseyfuneralhomes.com

We were very happy to learn that Lorna had married into the Chick family. She was a wonderful person to know and be with. We always enjoyed spending time with Lorna.

I was saddened to learn of Lorna's passing from my cousin, Rondy Chick Alexander. Evans/Chick family gatherings were so much fun with Dick and Lorna.
My deepest sympathy to you all.
