Louella HILL

1933 - 2023

Louella Maxine Hill went home to her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ early in the morning on May 26, 2023. Her life glowed with the fruits of the Spirit-love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22) and she is greatly missed.

Louella was born in Tuthill, South Dakota on July 14, 1933, to Paul and Katherine Hutcheson. She is predeceased by her brothers Robert (Bob) and Roger Hutcheson. She has two sisters, Pauline Sullivan, and Betty Funk-Swaney. Louella married William (Bill) Hill and enjoyed the outdoors and traveling on the backroads and highways from 1956 to 2022 when he passed from this life. They have 3 children-Cherlyn Phillips, Julie Gardner, and Mark Hill as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Louella is a long-time member of the Fellowship Church (Hillyard Church of God) where she established and ran the breakfast/lunch program there for all the years they had a daycare program. She loved and cared for many children in her life and retired from the KinderCare baby room where she was much loved. Louella and Bill were active members of the IOF for many years facilitating many socials and events.

Louella's graveside service is at Fairmount Memorial Park at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, followed by her memorial service and luncheon at Fellowship Church at 2102 E. Everett Ave. in Spokane at noon. If you are not able to join us at the graveside, please join us at the memorial afterward.
