Mark SIMPSON Obituary

Mark I Simpson (56) went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2023, unexpectedly after a motorcycle accident. Mark is survived by his wife of 26 years Elise Simpson, his children Heather Pulliam (Dom), Jace Simpson, Keiana Haig (Anthony), and Amanda Drake, his 5 grandchildren Kilian, Nathan, Oaklynn, Chayse, and Grae, Brothers Don (Jeana), Kevin (Daisy), and Keith, and a sister Joann, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son Dustin and parents Judy and Don.

Mark grew up in Spokane, WA, and while he went away for a short time for school or work, Spokane was always his home. He loved camping and fishing, cooking, long motorcycle rides, and sipping on an ice-cold rum and ginger ale. But his favorite thing was to spend time with his wife, kids, and his grandkids. He was never smiling more than when he had all of his family together.

All who were lucky enough to know Mark knew that he was a devoted husband, father, papa, brother, and friend. He loved to make people smile, told the best stories, loved without judgment, and gave himself without hesitation. He was truly a man of God and lived his life that way.

A funeral service will be held at The Vine Community Church, 1023 East Crawford St., in Deer Park on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 1:00 PM with a celebration of life to follow at his brother's home.
