Mary McNEELY Obituary
Mary Jo (Gunning) McNeely Ojai, Ca Mary Jo McNeely 63 Passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in Ventura, CA. She was born in Spokane, WA, to Mark and Josephine Gunning, on April 30, 1960. She attended high school at North Central High and graduated in 1978. She enjoyed spending summers at their family lake resort in Twin Lakes, Idaho, camping, snow and water skiing, riding snowmobiles in the winter with friends, swimming, playing cards, going dancing with her friend Toni, shopping, playing practical jokes on family and friends, as well as spending Christmas with family. Mary Jo and I volunteered and participated in many MS Society events. Mary Jo is survived by her husband, Mark McNeely, children, Justin McNeely (Alyssa) Trever McNeely (Monica) mother, Josephine Gunning, sisters, Ginnie Hawkinson (Tom) Margie O'harra, brothers, Paul Gunning (Terri) David Gunning, grandchildren, Aaliyah, Bella, Jakob, Anthony, sisters-in-law, Debra Hawley (Shawn) Brenda McNeely, Terri Gunning, brothers-in-law, Vin McNeely (Karrie) Tom Hawkinson, nieces, Jennifer, Ami, Amber, Jackie, Jessica, Randi, Sarah, Samantha, Tabitha, Ciera, nephew's, Jeffrey, Kelly, Jimmie, Jared, Michael, Eric, David also many great nieces and great-nephews. Services will be held at The Lighthouse Church, located at 8699 Henderson Rd., Ventura, CA 93004 on January 27, 2024, at 11am, a celebration of life reception will follow the service and information flyers with maps will be available at the Church service. You are loved and will be missed by everyone! Love, your husband Mark, sons, Justin and Trever and your entire family, friends, Church and DeSoto family.
