Merlyn ROBERTS

Merlyn "Babe" Roberts, of Deer Park, WA, passed away on July 22, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 26, 1936, in McCone County, MT, to Merl and Belle Orr, the youngest of seven siblings. In 1954, she graduated from John Rogers High School in Spokane, WA.

After graduation, Merlyn worked at St. Luke's Hospital before settling in Deer Park, WA, where she raised her family and built a life filled with creativity, independence, and tradition.

Those who knew Babe will remember her easy laughter, quick wit, and impeccable style. Whether she was sewing something beautiful, visiting over coffee, or sharing stories on the phone, she brought people together with her humor and heart. Her creativity and warmth made every space brighter, and every person feel special.

She leaves behind four children: Tammy (Ruben) Arana, Tracy (Barry) Knutson, Michael (Stefanie) Roberts, and Stephanie (Kelly) Roberts, along with 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Her absence leaves a deep ache, but her strength, humor, and light remain with us, a comfort we will hold close forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 8, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
