Michael Ray ADAMS

1943 - 2024

Spokane Valley - Michael Ray Adams, 80 years old, passed away on June 21, 2024.  Michael was born on Sept. 9, 1943, to Wayne Otis Adams and Jessie Simmons in Salem, OR. After graduating from Salem High School in 1961, he studied at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Upon completion of his degree in 1978, he began his career in Vancouver, WA. In 1979 he opened his practice in Spokane Valley, WA, and continued practicing for 20 years.  He is preceded in death by his older brother, Steve; father, Wayne; mother, Jessie; stepmother, Dorothy; and step-mother, Gladys. He is survived by his twin brother, Monte; youngest brother, Wayne; wife, Edith; three children, Chris (Jennifer), Juli (Brian), and Sean (Molly); and six grandchildren.  In 1962 Mike met the love of his life, Edith Mary McGill. They were married in 1964 in Hermiston, OR. They enjoyed traveling and visiting places such as Alaska, Tibet, Cabo San Lucas, and Hawaii.  Services will be held at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA, on August 3, at 1 pm.
