Michael Dennis Donahoe passed away on June 24. He was born in a farmhouse in Tekoa, Washington to Leo and Mary Ellen Donahoe. Mike had an amazing childhood growing up in the St. Al's neighborhood. In 1956 Mike went into the Navy and was a tail gunner on a patrol plane stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He left a legacy of three generations of firefighters as his son William and now Michael his grandson continues the tradition. He ended his career as a Deputy Chief of Operation and retired at the age of 54. He was an avid golfer and in his prime was a six handicap. Mike and Linda had a second home at Priest Lake where they made great memories with family and friends. Mike is proceeded in death by his parent and 11 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Linda, his son William, his daughter Julie, (Ron) grandkids Zachary, Riley, Alyse, and Michael, great-grandsons Adrian and Milo, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer's research. Mike's wife and family always came first.
