Gay & Family: Sharon & I have many fond memories of the young teacher and coach who came to Davenport in the mid-60's. I especially enjoyed seeing him when he came to the 40th class reunion of the Class of 1965. He was a tremendous individual who I know everyone will miss. Best Regards, Jeff & Sharon Remington

As Dick stated from a quote:
Mike is not dead until he is forgotten
And we will never forget, he will live on in the lives he touched as a Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Husband and Friend. He lives in the stories we tell, the memories we share, the life we will honor and the person we love. He has just moved to the inside of our hearts!
Our love and prayers and thoughts remain with you during this difficult time.

From Long Beach,
Gay...we will miss Mike a lot. He was supposed to be around for us for another generation, or two. He was a man's man in the truest sense of the word. And loved you more than life itself; I think from the day he met you. We are far away but you and your family are in our hearts and prayers.
