I met Mike through amateur radio (ham). I was listening on the 20 meter band to this conversation, and the one ham started talking about skiing. Being an avid skier my ears perked up! Then he said "I ski Mt. Spokane", so I knew I had to talk to this guy when he finished his conversation! Thus, it became a wonderful friendship due to our common interests of radio, skiing, and windsurfing. Mike would drop everything he was doing to help you with whatever you needed! He put up and took down many of my antenna towers with his excellent climbing skills. He will be sorely missed! As he always signed off the radio: This is N7KR going Quebec Romeo Tango...
