It was sometime mid school year 7th grade. Nancy nicholas home-base. Our homebase won for the most donations for the penny drive. So we got to participate in the little tournament. Two 8th grade home bases and 2 7th grade homebases. We had the least amount of people in our group but it didn't stop us from winning the first round. And then competing in the blindfolded maze test. Where you would put a blindfold on, and the other person would tell you where to go. Besides everyone on our team could easily see through the blind fold but of course we didnt tell any body. We then won the competition. Next week having a donut party. It was my favorite memory of 7th grade. And even winning her the first homebase tournament for her. Favorite middle school memory to this day. I am now in sophomore year of high school.

Our dear Nancy is in the heavens. She brightened my life with her contagious smile and her twinkling eyes. She was always interested. She listened actively. She brought joy! She brought laughter. I will always remember her and I will always love her.
Much love to Steve, your children and your wonderful grandchildren.

Nancy and I both taught middle school reading. Her passion was contagious and she truly inspired me. I am grateful to have known her. She had a fun and loving spirit and I will miss her immensely. God speed my dear friend, until we meet again. I love you!
