Pamela Jacobson Obituary

JACOBSON, Pamela Darlene Daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, floated home to be with her father and husband on July 2, 2010 after a tenacious battle with ovarian cancer. Pam Jacobson was born on January 3, 1963 to Ron and Karen Dillon. Her father welcomed her to heaven while her mother Karen remembers her here fondly. Pam is also survived by her two precious grandsons Colin Robert and Tucker Joseph, her daughters Angela and Kathryne, son Ron (Jamie), sisters Paula (Brandon), Patricia and brother Ken (Tami) and numerous other family who love her dearly. Pam was always on the move and refused to let her cancer keep her home. She continued to work helping the elderly even while receiving chemotherapy treatments. She dazzled friends and family with gifts of colorful and thick crochet blankets, and various holiday tree ornaments. Her greatest joy was to spend time with her grandsons and saved every scrap of energy to have a smile on her face when they visited. Pam pushed through the death of her husband four years ago who also died of cancer to provide a home for herself and for a time, a home for her son and his family. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 1:00 pm, at the Foothills Community Church located at 11102 N Forker Rd, Spokane, WA 99217. A gathering will be held following the service at the Dillon residence at 21212 N Holcomb Rd, Mead, WA 99021. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Cancer Care Northwest or Hospice of Spokane.
