Patrisha "Trisha" Ann KISSLER Obituary

KISSLER, Patrisha "Trisha" Ann Nov 7, 1941 - Nov 3, 2025 Trisha Kissler passed away on November 3, 2025. Trisha was born to Dorothy Walter Kissler and Reubin H. Kissler on November 7, 1941, in Spokane, WA. She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1959 and went on to attend Washington State University, where she was a proud member of the Tri Delta Sorority. After college, Trisha and a close friend moved to Hawaii. When she was not busy exploring the majestic Hawaiian Islands, she worked for the Bank of Hawaii. Before long, San Francisco called for Trisha, and she relocated to California beginning a successful 20-year career with Bank of America. She remained in the Bay Area until 1987, when she returned "home" to Spokane. There, she worked primarily as the Manito Branch Manager for Sterling Savings Bank until her retirement in 2007. In 1997, Trisha met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Hager, and the two shared 28 wonderful years together. Trisha loved to travel the globe. In 1981, she traveled to Germany and even visited East Berlin during the Soviet occupation. Her other adventures took her to England, France, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Sweden, Norway, Kenya, Tanzania, Mexico and Canada. She also made many return trips to Hawaii, a place she always held dear. A lifelong lover of the arts, Trisha enjoyed music from the Spokane Symphony and Pops concerts, as well as theater from Interplayers and other area playhouses. She was an avid golfer and loved to play bridge and bunco whenever she could. Trisha and Bob were longtime members of a gourmet cooking club, sharing great food, wine and laughter with close friends. Retirement was everything she had hoped for and more. Trisha loved to spend time with family and friends. She was always up for getting a "bite to eat" and catching up with those she cared about. The holidays were particularly special to her, especially Christmas, her favorite time of year. Her home was beautifully decorated, and her Christmas tree was always trimmed to perfection. Trisha always looked forward to her daily Starbucks dates with Bob. Trisha will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, joyful attitude and outgoing personality. She was deeply involved in her community and loved meeting new people. Her dedication led her to serve with numerous organizations, including Spokane South Rotary where she held leadership roles as President, Vice President and Secretary, as well as participation in various other committees. She was also active with the Chamber of Commerce of Spokane, United Way, Interplayers Theater, School District 81, and the Tri Delta Sorority at WSU. Trisha is lovingly reunited with her parents, Reubin and Dorothy Kissler, and her brother, Larry Kissler. She is survived by her partner Robert Hager; her nephew, Todd Kissler of Spokane, WA and her niece, Kristen Alldrin (Neil) of San Jose, CA; and her grandniece and grandnephew, Sydney and Mark. Trisha believed she was blessed with a truly happy life and enjoyed each day more than she thought possible. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. A small private service with immediate family was held on November 12th. Remembrance donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Paul was a very good friend to all of us in the Smith family. He and his family became like family to all of us. I will never forget his sense of humor and his smile. I can see Paul and my Dad in heaven telling jokes to each other as only they can! Rest in peace my friend.

Debbie Darrow. We will miss Paul and his smile at church. At daily mass he always collected our missals and walked up the aisle to give us ALL the sign of peace. One time I was privileged to bring him Communion. He was extremely thankful which made me so thankful. He was always thoughtful and kind. Jesus will probably assign him to welcome holy people into heaven! Debbie
